Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 June 2026
RummyGuide (yourummy.app) is a static, read-only educational website about Indian Rummy. We have designed it to collect as little information about you as technically possible. This policy explains what little we do collect, why, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
Server logs. Like virtually every website, the server that delivers our pages automatically records standard technical information when you visit: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser type, and the referring page. These logs exist for security monitoring and capacity planning. They are kept for a limited period, reviewed only in aggregate or when investigating abuse, and then deleted.
Aggregate analytics. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics tool to understand which guides people read and where our traffic comes from. Any analytics we run is configured for minimal, anonymous, aggregate measurement: we see that a certain number of visitors read a page, not who those visitors are. We do not build individual profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not use advertising or remarketing trackers.
That is the complete list. We do not collect names, email addresses (unless you choose to email us), phone numbers, payment details, location data beyond what an IP address inherently implies, or anything else.
No accounts, no sale of data
RummyGuide has no user accounts, no registration, no login, and no comment system. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no account data to store or lose.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer any visitor information to third parties. We have no advertising partners, no data brokers, and no affiliate tracking arrangements that involve sharing your data.
Cookies
RummyGuide does not set cookies for tracking or advertising. If we use an analytics tool, we choose one that operates without cookies or with a single, anonymous, first-party cookie at most. We never use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or fingerprinting techniques. You can browse this entire site with cookies disabled and nothing will break.
If you email us at [email protected] — for example, to report a correction — we will see your email address and whatever you write. We use that information only to respond to you. We do not add you to mailing lists (we do not have one) and we do not share your correspondence with anyone.
Third-party links
Our guides link to external resources: government statutes, court judgments, news reports, and occasionally other reference sites. Once you leave yourummy.app, this policy no longer applies. Third-party sites have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit through our links.
Children
This site discusses card games that may be played for money and is intended for readers aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including minors, beyond the technical data described above.
Governing law
This policy and any matter arising from your use of RummyGuide are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we adopt or switch an analytics tool — we will update this page and revise the “Updated” date shown at the top. Material changes will be described plainly in the text rather than buried. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
